INTRODUCTION
Friends, welcome to another new blog.
Friends, at this time a lot of updates are coming from the international bodybuilding scene, and today we are going to talk about them in this blog.
All these updates are related to your favorite bodybuilders such as Hadi Choopan, Josema, and Ali Bilal’s reaction after the Pittsburgh Pro Show.
We are also getting to see a very intense confrontation between Andrew Jacked and Derek Lunsford.
So friends, today’s blog is going to be very exciting for all of you. Let’s get started with today’s blog.
JOSEMA
Friends, our first update is coming from Josema.
Josema has officially confirmed that he will now be competing in the Men’s Open Bodybuilding division.
Josema has also confirmed that he will not compete in 2026 and will instead make his Men’s Open debut in 2027.
Friends, Josema is switching from the Classic Physique division to Men’s Open Bodybuilding, and his reason is quite similar to that of Urs Kalecinski.
Josema explained that in detail that he was under a lot of mental pressure because of the weight limit in Men’s Classic Physique Division.
Josema felt that he was unable to bring his absolute best peak package to the stage while staying within the required weight cap.
Because of this limitation, he could not present his physique the way he wanted, which caused him a significant amount of stress.
Josema stated that Men’s Open Bodybuilding does not have a weight limit, which will allow him to continue growing and bring a fully peaked physique without having to worry about making weight.
So, friends, this is one of the main reasons behind his move to the Men’s Open division.
At the same time, Josema is fully aware that Men’s Open Bodybuilding is a very risky move and that anything can happen in such a competitive division.
In Classic Physique, Josema was able to secure a 4th-place finish at the Mr. Olympia.
But Men’s Open Bodybuilding is already an extremely difficult category with Top Level athletes such as Samson Dauda, Derek Lunsford, Andrew Jacked, and Hadi Choopan competing at the highest level.
Because of this, Josema has decided to take a full year of off-season, similar to what Urs Kalecinski is currently doing.
Another reason why Josema will not compete in 2026 is that he recently became a father after welcoming a daughter with his wife.
He wants to spend time with his family and fully embrace his responsibilities as a father before returning to competition.
So, friends, for now Josema will focus on his family and his off-season development, and if everything goes according to plan, we will see him competing in Men’s Open Bodybuilding in 2027.
That is the latest update coming from Josema.
ALI BILAL
Friends, our next update is coming from the Men’s Physique division, and this one is about Ali Bilal.
As you already know, Ali Bilal Secure 2nd place at the Pittsburgh Pro Show 2026, while Kyron Holden took Victory to the home.
Many of you probably saw Ali Bilal’s reaction right after the show when he posted a video on his Instagram page.
In that video, ali bilal stated that Kyron Holden deserved the win and that he would work even harder and come back stronger to win the show in the future.
That was his immediate reaction following the competition.
However, what Ali Bilal had to say after 24 hours. Usually, after some time passes, emotions settle down and athletes are able to reflect on the situation with a clearer mindset.
The same thing happened with Ali Bilal. Right after the show, he was understandably emotional, but later he shared another reaction through his Instagram story.
In that story, Ali Bilal explained that finishing in 2nd place at the Pittsburgh Pro Show was not a major setback for him.
He said that he had experienced things in his life that were “a billion times worse” than this result.
He then went on to talk about the struggles he had faced throughout his life, including his journey from Afghanistan to Europe and the challenges he overcame along the way.
Ali bilal also mentioned that pittsburgh pro show 2026 result gave him the push he needed. According to him, Kyron Holden provided the motivation for him to improve even further.
Ali bilal admitted that he had become a little too comfortable during his preparation, and this loss reminded him that there is always room to grow and improve.
These were some of the key points he shared in his post-show reaction.
Now Friends, if we talk about Ali Bilal’s physique at the Pittsburgh Pro Show, many peoples would agree that this was arguably one of the best versions of Ali Bilal we have seen on stage.
It may not have been ali bilal absolute best-ever package, but it was definitely very close.
He came in outstanding condition, looked sharp from every angle, and there were no obvious signs that his physique was off.
So, a very strong version of Ali Bilal ended up losing at the Pittsburgh Pro Show.
At the end of the day, however, that decision was not in his hands. The judges preferred Kyron Holden’s physique and ultimately awarded him the Men’s Physique Title.
So friends, this was the complete reaction and update from Ali Bilal in the Pittsburgh Pro Show 2026.
HADI CHOOPAN
Friends, our next update is coming from Hadi Choopan, and this is a very significant one.
Recently, Hadi Choopan shared a photo on his Instagram page featuring Milos Sarcev.
For those who may not know, Milos Sarcev is a highly respected competitive bodybuilding coach who has worked with several top-level athletes, including Behrouz Tabani.
Along with the photo, Hadi Choopan posted the following message:
Through this post, Hadi Choopan essentially confirmed that Milos Sarcev will be his new coach and will guide him through his preparation for the 2026 Mr. Olympia.
Milos Sarcev also confirmed the partnership through his own Instagram post, where he wrote:
So, friends, it is now official that Hadi Choopan and Milos Sarcev will be working together heading into the 2026 Mr. Olympia season.
One interesting detail that caught fans’ attention was Hadi Choopan statement about people walking away from him and not supporting him during difficult times.
This immediately sparked speculation within the bodybuilding community. Some fans wondered whether those comments were directed at Hany Rambod, who was previously Hadi Choopan coach.
Of course, it is important to note that Hadi Choopan never mentioned Hany Rambod by name in his post. Therefore, any connection between those comments and Hany remains purely speculation.
However, many fans are discussing the possibility because Hany Rambod and Hadi Choopan are no longer working together, and Hadi Choopan was also removed from Evogen Nutrition.
Whether Hadi Choopan was referring to Hany Rambod or someone else remains unknown. What we do know for certain is that Hadi Choopan has now hired a new coach, and that coach is Milos Sarcev.
It will be very interesting to see how this partnership impacts Hadi Choopan preparation and performance at the 2026 Mr. Olympia.
So friends, that is the latest update coming from Hadi Choopan.
ANDREW JACKED AND DEREK LUNSFORD
Friends, let’s move on to our final and last update, which is coming from Andrew Jacked and Derek Lunsford.
Recently, the Olympia team uploaded a video on their YouTube channel titled Olympia Battle, and in that video, we got to see an intense confrontation between Andrew Jacked and Derek Lunsford.
During the video, both bodybuilders Andrew Jacked and Derek Lunsford were training, but things quickly became more interesting when Derek Lunsford started teasing Andrew Jacked.
Derek Lunsford told him that Andrew would never win the Olympia as long as he was the champion.
He also pointed out that he had already beaten Andrew five times and claimed that Andrew would never be able to defeat him.
Derek said things like:
Andrew, mark my words. As long as I’m the Olympia champion, you’re never going to win the Olympia. I’ve beaten you five times already, and you can never beat me.
Derek was clearly trying to get inside Andrew’s head and create some competitive tension. However, the most interesting part of the video came during the interview segment hosted by Terrick.
The entire setup gave off strong WWE-style vibes, making the rivalry feel even more entertaining for fans.
Terrick first asked Andrew Jacked about his incredible success this year.
He mentioned that Andrew had won multiple competitions, earned millions of dollars in prize money, and that many people were now predicting that he could become the next Mr. Olympia.
Terrick also brought up one of the most common discussions among bodybuilding fans that Andrew’s legs are often considered his weak point.
While Derek Lunsford is known for having one of the strongest lower bodies in the division.
When asked about this, Andrew responded calmly and said that he was simply playing mind games with Derek.
He acknowledged Derek as a champion and said that he respected him, but also suggested that Derek might be forgetting something important.
Andrew said that there is a specific date coming in September and that Derek should keep that date in mind.
As soon as Andrew finished speaking, Derek quickly grabbed the mic and fired back.
Derek confidently stated that nobody could play mind games with him and that when September arrives, he will once again take the Olympia trophy home.
Derek then doubled down on his confidence, saying that he would defeat Andrew for a sixth time on the Olympia stage.
